When to Use

• Editing the home subtitle CTA in src/pages/HomePage.jsx
• Updating explainer copy in src/pages/AboutPage.jsx
• Adjusting readme-like styling in src/styles/readme.css or subtitle/header styling in src/index.css
• Changing the /about back-button flow in src/components/Layout.jsx

Procedure

1. Keep the home route sparse: subtitle CTA plus Kerala map, not a long content block
2. Keep the subtitle as a clickable TransitionLink to /about, with justified multi-line copy when it wraps
3. Keep /about lowercase, sectioned like a simple readme, with justified body copy for a clean edge-to-edge reading block
4. Keep /about on the shared header back-button pattern and route it through runViewTransition
5. Reuse existing motion patterns: TransitionLink, .page-shell, and repo transition tokens

Guardrails

• Do not move dense explainer copy onto / unless explicitly asked
• Do not reintroduce right-aligned long-form reading copy unless explicitly asked
• Do not replace the route-based explainer with a modal or drawer unless explicitly asked
• If map callouts or map-shell behavior changes too, also use the ui-conventions skill
