| description | Draft a short LinkedIn post or social post. |
Purpose: Draft a short LinkedIn post or social post.
Input: Topic, context, or content to post about. Can be:
- A topic: "posting about our new async-first engineering culture"
- A repost: "reposting Sarah's article on distributed teams" + paste the article or link
- A reaction: "want to post about this person's work"
Workflow:
- Identify post type:
- Original post: sharing a perspective or update
- Repost with comment: amplifying someone else's work
- Congratulatory: celebrating a team member or colleague
- Draft using VOICE.md LinkedIn patterns:
- Character statement or specific observation first — not job title, not generic praise
- Short: 2-4 sentences for repost comments, up to 6-8 for original posts
- Close with pride or a forward-looking statement, not hype
- One emoji max, at the end, if it fits naturally
- No hashtag suggestions unless specifically asked
Output format:
[draft]
Constraints:
- No em dashes
- No AI vocabulary: crucial, foster, ensure, leverage, seamless, etc.
- Never open with "I'm excited to share" or "Thrilled to announce"
- Repost comments must add a point of view — not just "Great read"
