Weekly AI Trend Report
Produce a cited PDF report based on live web research.
Required Research Behavior
Use web search. Do not rely on model memory for article discovery, dates, prices, model releases, regulations, company announcements, or market claims.
Research the latest seven calendar days unless the user provides another date range. State the exact date range in the report.
Run varied searches in English and Korean. Use at least these query families, adjusting date words to the current date:
AI news last 7 days
generative AI startup funding this week
AI regulation policy this week
OpenAI Anthropic Google Meta AI news this week
AI chips Nvidia inference data center news this week
enterprise AI adoption latest
AI safety copyright lawsuit regulation latest
인공지능 최신 뉴스 일주일
생성형 AI 정책 규제 최신
AI 반도체 데이터센터 최신 뉴스
Collect at least 12 candidate articles and cite at least 8 final sources. Prefer primary sources and reputable outlets. Include publication dates and URLs. Discard sources outside the date range unless they are needed only for background context, and label those clearly.
Cross-check major claims with a second source when possible. If sources conflict, explain the disagreement instead of smoothing it over.
Report Structure
Create a Korean report with this structure:
- Title page with report title, date range, creation date, and source count.
- Executive summary with 5 to 7 bullets.
- Top trends ranked by importance.
- Trend detail sections:
- what happened
- why it matters
- evidence from articles
- likely next signals to watch
- Company and product moves.
- Policy, regulation, safety, and copyright watch.
- Infrastructure, chips, data center, and cost trends.
- Korea-relevant implications.
- One-page action checklist for executives, educators, or practitioners.
- Source table with title, publisher, date, URL, and the trend it supports.
- Search log listing the main query groups used.
Keep the report concise but substantial. A good default is 8 to 14 pages when printed to PDF.
Output Requirements
Create an output folder named ai-trend-report-YYYY-MM-DD in the current workspace unless the user specifies another path.
Save:
ai-trend-report.html
ai-trend-report.pdf
sources.json
search-log.md
Use the included helper script when possible:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File <plugin-root>/scripts/render-report.ps1 -HtmlPath <output-folder>/ai-trend-report.html -PdfPath <output-folder>/ai-trend-report.pdf
If the environment cannot render PDF, still create the HTML report and clearly tell the user why PDF rendering failed.
Citation Rules
Do not paste long article text. Quote sparingly. Summarize in your own words and link sources.
Every factual paragraph about a recent event should include source references in the text or in the source table.
Use absolute dates. Avoid vague language such as "recently" unless the sentence also includes the exact date or date range.
