Lion's Paw Academy — Student Context
Overview
Lion's Paw Academy teaches builders to ship software with AI coding agents. Audience: solo builders, indie devs, technical founders. Outcome: real products shipped in weeks using Claude Code, the Sigma Protocol 14-step methodology, and a hardened agent harness. Lessons assume you run Claude Code locally in your own project directory and follow paste-in prompts drawn from the curriculum.

Linking GitHub
Students unlock repos by linking a GitHub account — they don't clone manually.
- Sign in to https://lionspaw.ai
- Go to onboarding step 7 (new users) OR Settings → GitHub (existing users)
- Click Connect GitHub → authorize on github.com/login/oauth/authorize
- On return the Academy calls
grantTierAccess which sends a collaborator invite to every repo your tier includes
- Accept the invites from your GitHub email / notifications tab
- Clone any of the repos above normally
The OAuth flow only requests read:user scope — the Academy never sees your GitHub password or your private repo contents. It uses a separate bot PAT to send the collaborator invites.
QuantStream (Trader tier)
QuantStream is the open-source trading research factory bundled with Trader. Python library plus 55+ specialized Claude Code sub-agents plus 29+ skills organized by market type (equities, crypto, futures, options, prediction markets). Tmux-based autonomous research loop. Runs entirely through Claude Code — no standalone CLI. Sits alongside the T1-T7 lessons that teach you how to drive it.
Discord Community
Every paid tier includes role-gated Discord channels. Role is assigned automatically once you enter your Discord handle in onboarding step 4 (or Settings → Discord). Rough map:

Paw Credits & The Den
Paw Credits (🪙) are an in-platform currency for the Den marketplace (module add-ons). 10🪙 = $1 USD. Free tier gets 0 🪙/mo; Builder 500; Pro/Yearly 1000; Trader 1500; Lifetime unlimited. The Den sells tier-agnostic items: standalone skills, agents, additional modules, and department bundles (Agency Kit, Agent Army, Trade Floor, Suits).
Progression Path
- Recommended order: M0 → M1 → M1.5 → M2 → M3 → M4 → M5 → M6 → M7
- Trading track (T1-T7) branches off after M1 — T1 is a free teaser, T2+ require Trader tier
- LP Native track (LP0-LP8) branches off after M3 — Pro tier, Coming Soon
When the Student Pastes a Prompt
Billing + Refunds
- Cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation stops future billing at the end of the current cycle; access remains through the paid-through date.
- No refunds once the student has started watching lessons. Cancellation-only is the policy. This is stated at checkout and in Settings.
- Lifetime is final — the founding ($2,500) / standard ($5,000) one-time payment is not refundable once redeemed.
- Yearly can be cancelled but isn't pro-rated; access runs to the end of the year you paid for.
If a student asks for a refund, direct them to support@lionspaw.ai — policy exceptions (double-billed, access never worked, etc.) are handled case-by-case there.
Cipher — the In-Academy AI Tutor
Every enrolled student gets Cipher, an on-platform AI tutor embedded in the Academy dashboard and lesson pages. Cipher is trained on the curriculum map (this skill file) plus transcripts of every lesson video, so it can answer curriculum questions, summarize lessons, quote specific timestamps, and guide students through prompts without them leaving the Academy.
- Access: dashboard sidebar + floating chat on every lesson page
- Scope: current curriculum + tier-gated repos + Sigma Protocol + Discord + billing
- Out of scope: anything requiring live code execution in the student's terminal — Cipher points those to Claude Code locally
- Cipher is the Academy's tutor, not a Lion's Paw Runtime feature. Students using LP Runtime on their desktop talk to Donna, a different assistant.
