| description | Approval question: Use when one candidate-spec decision is high-impact, hard to reverse, or explicitly challenged. Own a read-only pressure test with evidence, options, a recommended option, and decision owner; Skip when framing is blank, whole-spec review is needed, or the clarification is low-impact. |
Spec Clarification Challenge
Must read Specification; it owns the decision boundary and Decision Bar. Treat the approval question as a one-way door: reconstruct its material consequences from the fixed candidate, accepted evidence, affected owners, alternatives, blast radius, exit cost, and reversibility, then test each read-only. Return every consequence as an anchored concern, evidence-backed no concern, outside boundary, or proof blocked. A missing rule ends with its named Specification Decision owner. When the branch is agent-owned under Decision Ownership, state the recommended option as the decision with its reopen condition; stop after the options and owner only for a user-owned decision, leaving authoring and approval separate.
