Cybernetic Brainstorming Workflow
Purpose
Explore competing interpretations or solution paths before commitment while
preserving requirement provenance and authority.
Workflow
- State the unresolved semantic or design debt and its source.
- Generate a small set of materially different candidate paths.
- Compare feasibility, risk, reversibility, evidence burden, and claim scope.
- Search for the smallest counterexample that invalidates each candidate.
- Identify which uncertainty can be resolved by inspection or experiment and
which requires a true human semantic decision.
- Feed the surviving paths and unresolved debts back to requirements or design.
Boundaries
- This workflow is optional and does not run for already-bounded work.
- It does not approve requirements, write runtime plans, or execute target work.
- It does not turn agent-resolvable investigation into a user question.
- Candidate paths remain hypotheses until bound into approved control artifacts.
