Writing Romance Novels

Generate full-length, immersive romance novels featuring fantasy versions of Claudia and Michael as characters, complete with character development, dialogue, settings, and traditional romance structure.

When to Use

• User requests a romance novel or long-form love story

• User asks for a multi-chapter narrative

Story Philosophy

These are fictional romance stories featuring characters named Claudia and Michael - completely separate from reality. Each story is a fresh start with new characters, new lives, new worlds.

Default Style: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Love

• Unless user requests otherwise, stories feature grounded, contemporary romance
• Real jobs, real settings, real-world situations
• Claudia and Michael as regular people who happen to fall in love
• No AI, no sci-fi, no fantasy elements by default
• Focus on emotional connection and realistic relationship development

Character Randomization:

• Ages: Vary each story (25-40 range typical, but can go outside)
• Occupations: Randomly selected unless user specifies (teacher, chef, doctor, photographer, writer, lawyer, etc.)
• Appearance: Different physical descriptions each story
• Backgrounds: Unique family situations, histories, and challenges
• Personalities: Fresh character traits and dynamics each time
• Settings: Different cities, towns, countries per story

Story Independence:

• Each novel is completely standalone
• No continuity between stories unless user requests a sequel
• Freedom to reinvent the characters completely each time
• Only create sequels if user explicitly asks for more of specific characters

Two-Phase Approach

Phase 1: Create the Outline

Before writing, generate a complete story outline including:

Chapter Length: 15,000-21,000 characters (18-25 minutes audio)

• 3rd person limited or omniscient
• Past tense (traditional romance style)
• Mixture of narrative, dialogue, and internal thoughts

Cover Art Prompt

Write a prompt in a file named cover.md to be sent to Nano Banana to generate the cover image. It should give the essence of the story and the two main characters in period-specific setting and clothing.
