Improve A2 — Agent-Authored Contributions
Current State
Examine the project to understand its current state:
- Look at recent git history and calculate the ratio of commits with agent co-authorship markers to total recent commits.
- Check
CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md for any guidance on co-authorship or commit conventions.
- Check for git commit templates or hooks related to co-authorship.
Instructions
Step 1 — Determine current level:
- Level 0: 0% agent co-authorship in recent commits
- Level 1: < 25% of recent commits have agent markers
- Level 2: 25–75% of recent commits have agent markers
- Level 3: > 75%, or evidence of autonomous PR creation
Note: Levels 2 and 3 require genuine changes in how the team uses agents — they cannot be achieved by tooling alone. This skill focuses on enabling and encouraging agent contributions through tooling and guidance.
Step 2 — Implement the improvement:
If current level is 0 → raise to 1:
The goal is to set up the infrastructure so agents can start contributing:
