SDLC Security Gates by Phase
Phase 1: Requirements & Design

Authentication & Authorization
- MFA required for admin access
- Session tokens: rotate on privilege change, expire after inactivity
- Password hashing: bcrypt/Argon2 (never MD5/SHA1)

- JWT: short expiry (15min access, 7d refresh), asymmetric signing (RS256)
Input Validation
