Draft Email
Write professional emails with proper context gathering before drafting.
Before Writing — Always Ask:
- Who is the recipient? (name, role, relationship)
- What platform/channel? (Gmail, AgentMail, Lemlist, LinkedIn DM)
- What's the goal? (cold outreach, follow-up, partnership, support, invoice)
- What tone? (formal, casual, direct, warm)
- Product positioning? (if sales-related — what angle to lead with)
Do NOT assume the platform unless stated. Do NOT assume the product angle — ask.
Drafting Rules
- Never send directly — always show draft for user approval first
- Auto-CC the user's own primary address when sending from a dedicated outbound inbox (e.g. AgentMail), so the user gets a copy of every outbound
- Run through a humanizer pass before finalizing — no em dashes, no "I hope this finds you well"-style filler, no Rule of Three padding, vary sentence length
- Match the customer's language (FR/EN) — never write in pidgin/Darija even when the customer does, unless explicitly asked
For Cold Outreach Specifically
- Pair with a structured cold-email skill for sequence design (subject → opener → 1-line body → CTA)
- Lead with the outcome the buyer cares about, not the product feature
- Skip vanity metrics in the opener; specifics > superlatives
- Always check past outreach learnings (which subject lines/openers got replies in this audience) before drafting fresh
