Input Sources
The skill accepts review feedback from multiple sources:
1. /code-reviewer Output
When the input contains structured sections like ## Critical Issues, ## High Priority Issues, etc., parse each issue with its:
- ID (e.g.,
[CRITICAL-1], [HIGH-1])
- Title
- File and line number
- Category and severity
- Problem description
- Current code snippet
- Recommended fix
2. GitHub PR Comments
When given a PR number or URL, fetch comments using:
gh pr view <PR_NUMBER> --json reviews,comments
gh api repos/{owner}/{repo}/pulls/{pr}/comments
Parse review comments for:
- File path and line numbers
- Comment body (the issue)
- Suggested changes (if any)
3. Pasted Text
When raw text is pasted, use intelligent parsing to identify:
- Issue descriptions (look for patterns like "should", "could", "missing", "incorrect")
- File references (paths, line numbers)
- Code snippets (fenced code blocks)
- Severity indicators (critical, high, medium, low, suggestion, nitpick)
Phase 1: Parse & Gather Context
Step 1.1: Identify Input Type
Detect the input format:
- Structured review report → Parse sections
- PR number/URL → Fetch from GitHub
- Raw text → Intelligent parsing

Always gather:

For each file mentioned in the review:
- Read the full file content

Phase 2: Triage & Assess
Relevance Criteria
For each issue, assess relevance using these criteria:

Error Handling
If a fix fails:
- Report the failure immediately
