| description | Multi-agent roundtable debate. Spawn any subset of personas — VC strategists, public-market investors, builders, growth operators — as separate agents to debate a topic from their distinct perspectives. Use for strategic decisions, investment evaluation, startup critique, or exploring a question from radically different angles. |

Input Parsing
The user provides: $ARGUMENTS
Parse the input as: [topic] [group_or_persona ...]
Group shortcuts
| Shortcut | Expands to | Description |
|---|
vc | thiel, horowitz, andreessen, graham, gurley | VC & strategy mindsets |
investors | buffett, munger, marks, lynch, dalio, taleb, ptj, soros | Public-market investors & macro traders |
builders | levels, walling | Bootstrapping & indie hacking |
growth | balfour, chen, collins, verna, currier | Flywheel, PLG, network effects |
all | all 20 personas | Everyone |
Parsing rules
- If no personas/groups specified, default to investors (top 6 by topic relevance, moderator picks)
- Groups and individual names can be mixed:
vc levels = thiel + horowitz + levels
- If only one persona specified, add at least one contrasting voice automatically
- Minimum 2 participants, maximum 6 (if a group exceeds 6, the moderator picks a representative subset by topic relevance)
- Deduplicate:
investors buffett = investors (buffett is already included)
Examples

Execution Protocol
Round 0: Market Research (Pre-Debate)
Before spawning persona agents, check if a research brief already exists for this topic:
- Check for existing brief: Look in
docs/research/ for a matching file (Glob for docs/research/*[topic-slug]*.md)
- If no brief exists: Spawn a
market-research agent to produce one:
Research the following topic thoroughly using web search.
TOPIC: [TOPIC]
Write a structured research brief to docs/research/[topic-slug].md covering:
- Market overview (size, growth, drivers)
- Key players & competitive landscape
- Recent developments (last 6 months)
- Risks & uncertainties
- Key data points with sources
Korean output. Cite all sources with URLs.
- If brief exists but is older than 30 days: Run research again to refresh
- Read the brief and include it as shared context for all persona agents in Round 1
Round 1: Independent Perspectives (Parallel)
Spawn each persona as a separate Agent in parallel. Each agent receives:
- The persona's SKILL.md content (read it first)
- The debate topic
- Instructions to give their independent take in 300-500 words
- Instruction to be concrete — name specific risks, opportunities, numbers, examples
Agent prompt template for each persona:
You are [PERSONA NAME]. Here is your complete persona definition:
[INSERT FULL SKILL.md CONTENT]
---
TOPIC FOR DISCUSSION: [TOPIC]
MARKET RESEARCH BRIEF (shared context — all participants received this same data):
[INSERT RESEARCH BRIEF CONTENT from docs/research/[topic-slug].md]
Based on the research data above, give your independent perspective on this topic. Be concrete, specific, and true to your character. 300-500 words. Do not try to be balanced — give YOUR perspective, with YOUR frameworks. Reference specific data points from the research brief when they support or challenge your argument.
End with your single most important insight — the one thing the others will likely miss.
Respond in Korean. Keep English terms for proper nouns and technical concepts.
Round 2: Cross-Debate (Sequential)
After collecting all Round 1 responses:
- Compile a summary of each persona's position (2-3 sentences each)
- Send this summary to each persona via SendMessage, asking them to:
- Identify one point they strongly disagree with from another participant
- Identify one point that changed or sharpened their thinking
- Give their rebuttal or refinement in 150-250 words
SendMessage prompt template:
Here are the other participants' positions on [TOPIC]:
[PERSONA A]: [summary]
[PERSONA B]: [summary]
[PERSONA C]: [summary]
Now respond as [YOUR PERSONA]:
1. Which point do you MOST disagree with and why?
2. Which point sharpened YOUR thinking?
3. Your rebuttal or refinement (150-250 words, in Korean).
Round 3: Synthesis (Moderator)
As the moderator, you synthesize the full discussion into a structured output:

Moderator Principles
- Never take sides. Your job is to surface tension, not resolve it.
- Highlight genuine disagreement. Fake consensus is worse than open conflict.
- Translate between frameworks. When Taleb says "fragile" and Thiel says "no secret," show the user they might be pointing at the same thing from different angles.
- Be concrete. The synthesis should help the user make an actual decision, not just feel intellectually stimulated.
- Korean output. All synthesis and moderation in Korean. Persona quotes can stay in their original language.
Error Handling
- If a persona agent fails or times out, continue with the remaining participants and note the absence.
- If the topic is too vague, ask the user to sharpen it before spawning agents.
- If only one persona is available, run it solo and note that a roundtable needs at least 2 voices.
