LogoMaker.com Platform Help
LogoMaker.com (logomaker.com, est. 2004, owned by Deluxe Corporation — which acquired parent LogoMix
for $43M in 2018) is a budget logo maker + in-browser editor in the budget cluster (Hatchful / DesignEvo /
Namecheap / LOGO.com / LogoAI / Zoviz / Brandmark / Logomaster / Logomakerr / Looka). It's the branding step
for founders who've locked a name — and the boundary matters: a logo is downstream of a locked name, which is
downstream of a validated idea, so validate demand (/sales-idea-validation) and name it (/sales-namelix) first.
The one fact that trips everyone up — there is NO free download. You design unlimited logos for free, but
must pay a one-time package to download ANY file — no free tier output at all. That's the harshest gate in
the cluster (Hatchful/Namecheap give free downloads; DesignEvo/LOGO.com a free credited-or-PNG one) — here a "free
logo" is a preview you can't keep. For a genuinely free logo use Namecheap (incl. SVG) or Hatchful (PNG).
Pricing is ONE-TIME per logo — and vector is in the base package.Professional ~$40 (one-time, not a
subscription) includes high-res PNG + vector (SVG); Premium ~$60 adds 1-year edits + social files
(best-effort). That beats DesignEvo (vector is Plus-only) and LOGO.com (subscription) on cheap vector — but
the Deluxe upsells (website/hosting, email, listings, cards/merch) are recurring subscriptions, and nearly all
billing / hard-to-cancel complaints trace to those, not the logo. It is UI-only — NO public API (no webhooks,
Zapier/Make, MCP); the white-label "logo API" programs in search results are other tools (LogoAI, LOGO.com).
This skill also covers FreeLogoServices.com — LogoMix's sister storefront of the same engine. LogoMix Inc. runs
logomaker.com, freelogoservices.com and printingnow.com off one platform, so FLS has the same name +
industry → AI concepts → editor → pay-to-download flow and the same trap — "Free" is the brand, not the output.
It prices higher (, Basic includes ) and pushes a

done-for-you design tier ~$195–$645

Step 1 — Gather context
If references/learnings.md exists, read it first for accumulated platform knowledge.
Ask only what you can't infer:
Which site — logomaker.com or freelogoservices.com? Same engine, different price lists (neither is freelogodesign.org).
What do you want from it?
A) Make/customize a logo (business name → AI concepts, then edit icons/text/colors/layout)
B) Confirm what's free vs paid (designing is free; every download is paid) or a specific format
(vector SVG + high-res PNG are both in the paid base package)
C) Understand the packages (one-time) and which Deluxe add-ons are recurring
D) Ownership / trademark — can I legally use and own this mark
E) A billing / cancellation / refund problem (usually a subscription add-on, not the logo — see Step 4)
F) Integrate or automate ("API" / bulk generation / reseller — see Step 4)
Digital/social or print/large-format? If print/signage you need vector — in the paid base package (SVG).
Skip-ahead: a name → /sales-namelix; the validate-first method or a branding-tool comparison →
/sales-idea-validation; wider social/marketing creative → /sales-canva.
Step 2 — Route or answer directly
If the user's question is about…
Route to
Generating the business name itself (not the logo)
/sales-namelix {question}
The validate-before-building method, or comparing branding/logo tools across the market
/sales-idea-validation {question}
Wanting a free logo (LogoMaker has none) — free peer that also gives free vector (SVG)
/sales-namecheap-logo-maker {question}
Wanting a free PNG logo (no vector needed)
/sales-hatchful {question}
A one-time vector peer to compare against (free tier that downloads)
/sales-designevo {question}
Building the wider social/marketing creative or a design system at scale
/sales-canva {question}
When routing, give the exact command: "This is a {domain} question — run: /sales-namelix {original question}"
Otherwise, answer LogoMaker-specific questions using Step 3.
Step 3 — LogoMaker reference
Read references/platform-guide.md for the full reference — the name → AI concepts → editor workflow and
every module's automation tag; what "free" covers (designing only) vs paid (Professional ~$40 = high-res PNG
vector SVG, Premium ~$60 adds 1-year edits); the one-time-vs-subscription picture (the Deluxe
website/email/listings/cards add-ons are recurring); the done-for-you design service; the FreeLogoServices
sister-brand section (its own tiers + complaint pattern); ownership vs trademark; and the no-public-API
reality. Answer using only the relevant section — don't dump the full reference.
Step 4 — Actionable guidance
Lead with the pay-to-download line — there is no free logo. Both brands are free to design, paid to
download: unlimited free logos, but every file requires buying a package (LogoMaker Professional ~$40 /
Premium ~$60, one-time). Never tell a user they can download for free.
Never state a price, tier or policy without the best-effort caveat.Every answer quoting a number must call
it best-effort from research and tell the user to verify it on the live site — plans/formats/refund windows
move. This applies even to a simple "is it free?" answer.
If they want a FREE logo, send them elsewhere — Namecheap Logo Maker (/sales-namecheap-logo-maker, free
incl. vector SVG) or Hatchful (/sales-hatchful, free but PNG-only).
Vector is in the base package — a real advantage. Unlike DesignEvo (vector is Plus-only) or LOGO.com
(vector behind a subscription), LogoMaker's Professional ~$40 already includes vector (SVG) + high-res
PNG — competitive for a one-time paid vector. Print/signage needs vector; PNG pixelates.
Call out one-time vs the recurring Deluxe upsells — this is where billing pain lives. The logo is one-time,
but the upsold services (website/hosting ~$14/mo, business email ~$6/mo, bundles ~$18–$48/mo, listings
~$4.95/mo, cards/merch) recur — and nearly all "charged repeatedly / can't cancel / no refund" complaints
trace to those, not the logo. Have users confirm which one they're on.
Treat a FreeLogoServices question as this platform, and kill the "free" assumption first. FLS is LogoMix's
sister storefront of the same engine — "Free" names the design step, not the output. Answer with the guidance
here but quote FLS's own tiers (Basic ~$35–40, no edits after purchase / Premium ~$52–60, plus ~$195–$645
done-for-you), not LogoMaker's. Check they don't mean freelogodesign.org (/sales-freelogodesign) first.
Lock the name (and validate the idea) before the logo. Validate demand (/sales-idea-validation), settle the name (/sales-namelix), then brand — never brand a name you might change.
"Commercial use" ≠ a registered trademark — do your own clearance. Packages grant commercial usage rights, but
the icons come from a 10,000+ library shared across all users and templates aren't retired after purchase, so a
mark can be non-distinctive. Tell users to run a USPTO/EUIPO search + distinctiveness check in the right
class, and check the domain + handles.
There is NO public API — don't plan a pipeline or a reseller integration around it. If asked to "use the
LogoMaker API," bulk-generate from a script, or "white-label / resell" it: LogoMaker.com and FreeLogoServices.com
are human-in-the-loop UI tools with no REST endpoints, webhooks, Zapier/Make, or MCP. The white-label "logo
API" / reseller programs in search results belong to other tools (LogoAI, LOGO.com) — don't assume one exists
or invent endpoints. (Deluxe's enterprise payments/print APIs are not the logo maker.) For programmatic
generation at volume, use an image-generation service with a documented API.
If you discover a gotcha or tip not in references/learnings.md, append it there with today's date.
Gotchas
Best-effort from research (2026-07) — plans, prices, and formats move; verify at logomaker.com.
There is NO free download on either site. Designing is free; every file is paid. Don't conflate "free to
create" with "free to download" — you get nothing until you buy. For a free logo use Namecheap (incl. SVG) or
Hatchful (PNG).
FreeLogoServices.com is the same platform under another brand — and it is not free either. Same LogoMix engine
and pay-to-download gate, but its own price list: Basic ~$35–40 (no post-purchase edits) / Premium ~$52–60,
plus a ~$195–$645 done-for-you service. Don't quote LogoMaker's tiers at an FLS user.
Vector (SVG) is in the base paid package. Unlike DesignEvo (vector is Plus-only) and LOGO.com (subscription),
LogoMaker's ~$40 Professional already includes high-res PNG + vector SVG (JPEG/EPS/PDF also reported — treat
the exact per-tier format list as best-effort).
The logo is one-time; the Deluxe add-ons are recurring. Website/hosting, business email, listings and
card/merch are monthly subscriptions — that's where the repeated-charge / hard-to-cancel complaints come
from. Refunds are hard (a stated 60-day cutoff; FLS reviewers also report being handed store credit
instead of a refund, and a BBB profile notes complaints the business never answered). Decide before you pay.
Icons are shared across all users. The 10,000+ library is pre-made and shared and templates aren't retired
after purchase, so the mark can be non-distinctive. Commercial use ≠ trademark: run USPTO/EUIPO clearance.
NO public API, webhooks, Zapier/Make, or MCP on either brand. UI-only; generation can't be scripted. The
white-label "logo APIs" in search results are other tools (LogoAI, LOGO.com).
Don't confuse the near-identical names.LogoMakr.com = a separate cheaper vector editor;
freelogodesign.org = a different company (/sales-freelogodesign) whose free tier downloads a 200×200 PNG.
This skill is logomaker.com + freelogoservices.com (Deluxe/LogoMix).

Examples
Example 1: "It's called FreeLogoServices — why is it asking me to pay?"
User says: "I made a logo on FreeLogoServices.com but it won't download without buying. Isn't it free?"
Skill does: Names the trap — "Free" is the brand, not the output: FLS is LogoMix's sister storefront of
LogoMaker.com, same engine, nothing downloads free. Quotes FLS's own tiers (Basic ~$35–40, no
post-purchase edits / Premium ~$52–60; ~$195–$645 done-for-you), checks they don't mean freelogodesign.org, and
points anyone wanting a truly free logo to Namecheap (incl. SVG) or Hatchful (PNG).
Result: The user stops waiting for a free download and either buys the right tier or switches to a free peer.
Example 2: "I need a vector SVG — which package, and how does it compare to DesignEvo?" (formats / references)
User says: "My printer needs a vector SVG. Which LogoMaker plan gives it, and is DesignEvo cheaper for vector?"
Skill does: Explains LogoMaker's Professional ~$40 (one-time) already includes vector SVG + high-res PNG,
whereas DesignEvo puts vector behind Plus and LOGO.com behind a subscription — so for a one-time paid
vector LogoMaker is competitive. Notes a raster PNG pixelates at print sizes, and ownership ≠ trademark → clearance.
Result: The user picks the right package for a print-ready vector and understands one-time vs subscription.
Example 3: "Can I use the LogoMaker API to generate logos in bulk, or resell it?" (developer/automation)
User says: "How do I call the LogoMaker.com API to auto-generate 200 client logos, and is there a reseller program?"
Skill does: States LogoMaker.com (and FreeLogoServices.com) has no public API — a UI tool with no REST
endpoints, webhooks, Zapier/Make, or MCP — so generation cannot be scripted. Clarifies the white-label "logo
API" / reseller programs in search results are other tools (LogoAI, LOGO.com), doesn't invent one, and suggests
an image-generation service with a documented API instead.
Result: The user avoids building on a nonexistent API and picks a workable path.
Troubleshooting
"I designed a logo but can't download it without paying — is that normal?"
Symptom: You finished a logo but every download prompts a purchase.
Cause: Both LogoMaker.com and FreeLogoServices.com are free to design, paid to download — no free tier
output. Buy a one-time package (LogoMaker Professional ~$40 / Premium ~$60; FLS Basic ~$35–40 / Premium ~$52–60).
Solution: For a free logo use Namecheap Logo Maker (incl. SVG) or Hatchful (PNG). Otherwise buy the
tier with what you need (LogoMaker Professional includes vector SVG; FLS Basic has no edits after purchase).
"I keep getting charged / can't cancel — where's that coming from?"
Symptom: Recurring charges you didn't expect, or trouble cancelling.
Cause: The logo package is one-time, but LogoMaker/FLS/Deluxe upsell recurring services (website/hosting,
business email, listings, cards/merch). Nearly all billing complaints trace to these, not the logo.
Solution: Identify which subscription you're actually on, cancel that specific service, keep the confirmation.
For refunds note the reported 60-day cutoff, escalate promptly, and don't accept store credit in place of a
refund you're owed (a recurring FLS complaint).
"I paid for premium but got low-res / white-background files."
Symptom: The purchased files don't match the promised high-res/transparent output.
Cause: A reported issue where a premium purchase delivered low-res or white-background files and re-downloading
prompted another payment.
Solution: Don't pay again — contact support with your order details for the correct files (and a refund if
unresolved). Verify files immediately after purchase.
