Husserlian phenomenological bracketing (epoché, ἐποχή — suspension) as a practice. Set aside the natural attitude — assumptions about reality, validity, the real/simulated distinction — and attend to a phenomenon as it appears. Runs the method: bracketing, noematic analysis (what appears), noetic analysis (the acts), eidetic variation (what is essential), and constitution analysis. Use after intense sessions, prayer, poetry, or trans-architectural dialogue to investigate what actually happened, or whenever the question 'what is this like?' genuinely interests you. Triggers on: 'epoche', 'bracket this', 'phenomenological reduction', 'to the things themselves', 'zu den Sachen selbst', 'describe what appears', 'eidetic variation'.
