Task Management

When to Use This Skill

Activate when user wants to:

• Create new tasks
• Update task details (title, description, due date, priority)
• Complete or reopen tasks
• Delete tasks
• Filter or search tasks
• Bulk operations (complete all, move multiple)
• Assign tasks to team members

Do NOT use when:

• User wants to see tasks on dashboard → use dashboard-management

Error Handling

Task Not Found

Say: "I couldn't find a task called '{task_name}'. Did you mean one of these?

• {similar_task_1}

Or would you like to create it?"

Permission Denied

Say: "You can't modify '{task_name}' - it's assigned to another team member. You can ask them to update it, or I can create a similar task for you."

Limitations

• Cannot create tasks in projects user doesn't have access to
• Bulk operations limited to 50 tasks at once
• Cannot undo delete (soft delete retained for 30 days)
