Workflow 1: Automated Video → Captioned, Broadcast-Grade Output
A zero-touch pipeline for cutting, cleaning, captioning, and rendering your videos.
Prerequisites
- Node.js: For
npx command.
- Git: For downloading tools.
- Python: For analysis scripts.
- FFmpeg: For video cutting.
Execution Rules
- Auto-accept all permissions
- No prompts
- No confirmations
- Just execute
- Goal: Hands-off, deterministic pipeline.
Step 1 — Analyze & Cut
Goal: Identify the clean take and trim the video.
Run scripts/analyze_and_cut.py. This script:
- Transcribes with Whisper (word-level timestamps).
- Parses the transcript to detect false starts ("Take 2", "Start over") and identifies the clean take.
- Trims the video using
ffmpeg with precise timestamps.

Step 2 — Audio Processing (Auphonic API)
Goal: Broadcast-grade, normalized, noise-reduced audio.
Run scripts/process_audio.py. This script interacts with Auphonic to apply:
- Leveler: true
- Normloudness: true (Target: 16 LUFS)
- Denoise: true (Method: "dynamic")
- Output: AAC – 192kbps

Note: Ensure AUPHONIC_API_KEY is set.
Step 3 — Remotion Caption Engine
Goal: Render Captioned Video with specific styling.
Use resources/CaptionedVideo.tsx in a Remotion project.
Setup
- Initialize Project:
- Preferred: Copy the included template:
cp -r resources/template my-video-project
- Alternative:
npx create-video@latest
- Install Dependencies:
npm install (ensure @remotion/google-fonts is installed).
- Integrate Component: Copy
resources/CaptionedVideo.tsx to src/ and register in Root.tsx.
Styling Logic (Implemented in Component)
- Typography: Inter (800 weight), 72px size, 0.02em letter spacing, 24px word gap.
- Chunking: 4 words per chunk.
- Word States:
- Current:
#BFF549 (Neon Green) + Glow (0 0 40px rgba(191,245,73,0.8)) + Scale (1.1).
- Past:
#FFFFFF.
- Future:
rgba(255,255,255,0.5).
- Effects:
- Text Shadow:
0 4px 20px rgba(0,0,0,0.8).
- Position: Bottom 120px.
- Gradient Overlay: Height 40%, Fade transparent →
rgba(0,0,0,0.85).
- Audio: Mutes original video, overlays Auphonic processed audio.
Step 4 — Render
Use scripts/render_video.sh to render the final composition to the Desktop.
