audit-docs

Audit hand-authored project documentation (.md, .txt, .rst, .adoc) for accuracy against the codebase as ground truth. Extracts verifiable claims from each doc (code blocks, shell commands, file paths, version/dependency refs, symbol names), checks them against actual code and manifests, reads in-repo PDFs as reference context, and reports findings ranked by doc importance × staleness severity — with targeted per-finding edit proposals requiring approval before any change. Global and project-agnostic. Trigger when the user says "audit docs", "audit-docs", "check if the docs are up to date", "are the docs stale", "docs health check", "check documentation accuracy", "is the README up to date", "check README", "documentation drift", "docs out of date", "review project documentation", or "update project docs". SKIP for CLAUDE.md files — use /audit-claude-md instead. SKIP for auto-generated API docs (Sphinx _build/, JSDoc out/, Swagger outputs) — regenerate those from source instead of auditing them.
