Prerequisites

1. Install CLI:

   # Option 1: Install globally with Bun (recommended)
   bun add -g ai-vid
   
   # Option 2: Clone and build
   git clone https://github.com/aryasaatvik/ai-vid
   cd ai-vid
   bun install
   bun run build
   

2. Set API key (choose one):

   • Google: export GOOGLE_API_KEY=..., export GEMINI_API_KEY=..., or export GOOGLE_GENERATIVE_AI_API_KEY=...
   • FAL AI: export FAL_API_KEY=...

generate

Generate videos from text prompts.

batch

Process multiple jobs from JSONL file.

Troubleshooting

• "Missing API key": Ensure your API key is set in the environment
• "No video data available": Check if the model supports the requested parameters
• Rate limiting: Reduce --concurrency for batch jobs
