Project Structure Audit

Use When

• Validating phase/system completeness.
• Preparing remediation lists before implementation.

Required Rules

• Audit required files/interfaces against declared scope, not assumptions.
• Separate structural defects from behavioral defects in reporting.
• Report first failing location for each audit category.
• Keep audit output deterministic and machine-readable when possible.

Workflow

1. Validate required file/class/interface existence.
2. Validate contract surfaces (methods/signals/resources) against requirement spec.
3. Validate cross-system integration paths and ownership boundaries.
4. Emit structured gap report with severity and remediation tasks.

Validation

• Re-running audit without repository changes yields same findings.
• Each finding includes path, severity, and recommended remediation.
• High-severity structural defects block downstream implementation.

Failure Modes

• Audit checks are implicit and vary between runs.
• Findings lack path/severity and cannot drive remediation planning.
• Structural gaps are deferred until runtime failures surface.
