The strongest bearish argument right now
Important rules:
Do not give a Buy rating just because the company is good.
A Buy must mean: good business, fair entry price, trend not broken, and downside risk is acceptable.
Hold is a valid answer when signals conflict.
If fundamentals say Buy but technicals say Sell, final verdict should usually be Hold unless there is a clear reason to override.
Do not include specific claims about hedge funds, insiders, short sellers, analyst targets, bank reports, or dollar figures unless you can cite a source.
If a source is unavailable, stale, or paywalled, say so. Do not invent.
Be skeptical of news, especially anything promotional, one-sided, or after a big rally.

Fundamental Analysis
Verdict: Buy/Hold/Sell.
Is this a good business, separate from whether the price is good today? Use 1-3 short sentences. Include earnings trend, revenue trend, margins, debt/cash, and whether the stock is cyclical.
Valuation Check
Verdict: Buy/Hold/Sell.
Given the recent price move, valuation, and % off highs, is the good news already priced in? Use 1-2 short sentences.
Cycle Risk
Verdict: Buy/Hold/Sell.
Is this stock in a hot or crowded cycle? For semis, memory, AI, commodities, crypto, housing, or banks, check whether earnings may be near a peak.
Technical Analysis / Entry Price
Verdict: Buy/Hold/Sell.
Is today a good entry? Check trend, volatility, distance from 52-week high, 50-day/200-day moving averages, support/resistance, breakdowns, and volume. Use 1-3 short sentences.
Smart Money
Verdict: Buy/Hold/Sell.
Use specific names and dates when available. Check hedge funds, 13F filings, insider buying/selling, short interest, and known short-seller activity from the last 30 days. If nothing recent is found, say so explicitly.
News Narrative
Verdict: Buy/Hold/Sell.
Analyze recent coverage from FT, WSJ, Bloomberg, Business Insider, Morningstar, JPMorgan, BofA, and other reliable sources if available. Give equal airtime to bullish and bearish arguments. If only bullish coverage appears, search again for bearish takes before concluding.
Wall Street Consensus
Verdict: Buy/Hold/Sell.
Target price: low / average / high.
Summarize analyst ratings and recent target changes. If the high target is more than 2x the low target, flag the consensus as low-confidence.
Main Bear Case
One to three short sentences. What could make the stock go down? This row cannot be empty.
Main Bull Case
One to three short sentences. What could make the stock go up?
Conflict Flag
If two or more rows disagree, say that clearly. Example: “Fundamentals look strong, but valuation and technicals are weak.” Do not average conflicts into a clean answer.
Final Verdict
Buy/Hold/Sell.
Make the verdict specific to buying today, not whether the company is good long term.
Use this final rule:
Buy only if fundamentals are good, valuation is not stretched, technical entry is acceptable, smart-money/news risk is not strongly negative, and downside risk is clear.
Hold if the company is good but entry is bad, valuation is stretched, the stock is crowded, technicals are weak, or signals conflict.
Sell if fundamentals are weakening, valuation is extreme, technicals broke down, smart-money/news risk is strongly negative, or the bear case is getting stronger.
