Workflow

1. Read the target section, nearby sections, and the underlying tables or figures.
2. Align the prose with the actual estimand, sample, and units.
3. Draft the smallest section needed.
4. Re-read for notation drift, unsupported claims, and generic AI filler.

Writing rules

• State the research question and main finding early.
• Report effect sizes with units, not just significance.
• Keep notation consistent across sections.
• Avoid hedging or promotional filler when the evidence is straightforward.
