Fail loudly. A checklist that always passes is theatre.

Picture

• Recurring character reads as the same person in every shot
• Cast is regionally appropriate to the actual audience
• No garbled or unintended text anywhere in frame
• Every brand mark is the real composited file, not a generated approximation
• Grade consistent shot to shot
• All shots full-bleed — no stray letterboxing among full-frame shots
• Titles legible at 25% scale

Audio

• VO accent verified by a native speaker, not inferred from duration
• VO duration measured with ffprobe against picture length
• Integrated loudness −16 LUFS, true peak ≤ −1.5 dBTP
• Music licensed, licence on file

Compliance — non-negotiable

• AI disclosure visible on the end card where footage depicts realistic people
• Platform synthetic-content flag will be enabled at upload
• No personal data in frame — every capture of a live system reviewed for real names, emails and IDs
• Claims narrowed to what the product actually does
• Logged in the organisation's AI usage register

Approvals

• Client or marketing sign-off on positioning claims
• Any department depicted has been briefed on how it is framed

Record the result in shot_tracker.json → gates.qc_passed. Never mark a check passed that you did not run — and if visual inspection was unavailable, say so rather than assuming.
