Session Start

1. Load state

Read 00_Production_Management/shot_tracker.json and .claude/memory/production_state.json.

2. Report the gates first

Gates determine what is even legal to do next:

script_locked       approved
keyframes_approved  PENDING   ← blocks all clip rendering
voice_approved      pending
picture_lock        pending
qc_passed           pending

Never propose work that a pending gate forbids.

3. Report the budget honestly

Show credits remaining against the estimate to complete. If the remaining balance cannot finish the plan, say so now rather than discovering it mid-batch — a batch that dies halfway wastes what it already spent.

4. Select the next task

Pick by dependency, not preference. Report what it is, what it costs, and which gate it advances.
