YouTube Publish
Metadata
- Title — the promise, front-loaded; under 60 characters so it survives truncation
- Description — the first two lines carry it; include the real product links
- Language — set the audio language per version. Upload language variants as separate videos, or as additional audio tracks on one video.
- Chapters — derive from the act structure when runtime warrants
Disclosure — required, not optional
Enable the "altered or synthetic content" toggle in YouTube Studio for any film whose footage depicts realistic people generatively. This is a platform requirement, and the on-screen disclosure strip does not substitute for it. Both are needed.
Assets
- Thumbnail 1280×720, verified at 240px
- 9:16 social cut via
reframe on the finished clips — far cheaper than re-shooting. This is the one place a corner logo belongs, because social feeds strip away the surrounding context that the opening sting and end card would otherwise provide.
Never upload
- Unredacted captures of live systems — re-check for real names, emails and IDs even if QC passed
- Claims beyond what the product actually does
Log
Record the URL, upload date, language variant and disclosure state in 06_Distribution/youtube/, and mirror it into the organisation's AI usage register.
