Strategy

Instructions

Step 1: Go to Error Location

From: Android.bp:42:15: parse error: expected ',' before ']' Open Android.bp at line 42.

Step 2: Common Fixes

Missing comma:

// Before (error)
srcs: [
    "file1.cpp"
    "file2.cpp"
]
// After
srcs: [
    "file1.cpp",
    "file2.cpp",
]

Trailing comma issue:

// Before (error in some cases)
deps: [
    "libfoo",
]  // Trailing comma is OK in Android.bp

Missing colon:

// Before
name "mylib"
// After
name: "mylib",

Unclosed bracket:

// Before

    "main.cpp",
// Missing ]
// After
