What This Skill Does

Generates two client-facing documents: the kickoff document (sets the frame for the engagement) and the intake questionnaire (extracts the information needed to actually start work). Together they make the client feel certain, organized, and confident in their hire.

When to Use

• Immediately after a contract is signed and first payment received
• To create the client folder in the clients/active/ tree
• To migrate the PID from pipeline/archive/won/ to clients/active/

I/O Contract

Inputs:

• proposal-package.md — reads what was promised
• PID.md — reads [C], [P], [B] for project parameters

Outputs:

• kickoff-doc.md — warm welcome + scope lock + timeline + communication norms
• intake-questionnaire.md — structured questions to extract what's needed to start
• Creates clients/active/{client-slug}_{pid}/ folder structure
• Promotes PID.md to client folder (adds [O] Onboarding section)
• Updates _index/clients.json — adds new active client entry
• Updates _index/archive_map.json — links proposal path to client path
