Spec and Planning
Input
Read clarification_summary from memory. Do not begin without it.
Technical Spec
Produce a document with these sections:
- Problem — What is being solved and why
- Constraints — Tech stack, performance, security, compliance
- Architecture — How it fits into the existing system; new components and their responsibilities
- Data model changes — New tables/schemas/fields, if any
- API surface — New or changed endpoints/functions/interfaces
- Security considerations — Auth, input validation, data exposure
- Manual validation triggers — List each change type that requires manual review
Implementation Plan
Ordered list of phases. Each phase:
name: kebab-case identifier
description: what it builds
tests_first: what failing tests to write (specific function/class names)
files: exact files to create or modify
parallel: true if this phase can run concurrently with another (name which)
manual_validation: true/false and trigger reason if true
commit_message: the git commit message for when this phase is complete
User Confirmation
Present both documents. Incorporate feedback. Do not write to memory until user explicitly confirms.
Write to memory:
spec_document — the full spec
implementation_plan — the confirmed plan as a JSON array of phase objects
