Defuddle
Use Defuddle CLI to extract clean readable content from web pages. Prefer over WebFetch for standard web pages — it removes navigation, ads, and clutter, reducing token usage.
Use npx defuddle-cli by default. Install globally only if already available or asked by user npm install -g defuddle-cli
Usage
Always use --md for markdown output:
npx defuddle-cli parse <url> --md
Save to file:
npx defuddle-cli parse <url> --md -o content.md
Extract specific metadata:
npx defuddle-cli parse <url> -p title
npx defuddle-cli parse <url> -p description
npx defuddle-cli parse <url> -p domain
Output formats
| Flag | Format |
