Deep Research Skill
Use this skill when you need to conduct comprehensive research that goes beyond
a simple lookup.
When to Use
- Multi-faceted questions requiring synthesis across sources
- Topics with conflicting or evolving information
- Research requiring verification and cross-referencing
- Structured analysis of complex domains
Research Process
- Decompose the question into 3-5 focused sub-questions
- For each sub-question, identify the most authoritative sources
- Search using specific, targeted queries โ not broad terms
- Read source content fully before drawing conclusions
- Cross-reference key claims across at least 2 independent sources
- Synthesize into a structured response with clear citations
Quality Checks
- Did I verify key claims with multiple sources?
- Did I distinguish fact from opinion or hypothesis?
- Did I flag areas of uncertainty or active debate?
- Are all citations traceable to specific sources?
