When to engage

- A regression suite covers revenue-critical paths and must run in CI

Rules
- One test per journey — no "mega-test" covering five flows
- Seed test data via API, not UI clicks, when possible
- Teardown is mandatory — leave no residue
- Capture video + trace on failure, screenshot on every step
- Console errors fail the run — monitor the browser console throughout; any unhandled JS exception or console error is an automatic FAIL
- Headless by default — run browsers headless (
headless: true) unless a scenario explicitly requires headed mode
- No fixed sleeps — never
sleep N; always wait for an explicit condition (selector visible, network idle, application state)
Output
E2E test files + a journey diagram (ASCII or mermaid) showing the path.
