Workflow
Implementing a new issue
- Read the issue — understand requirements fully before touching code
- Create branch:
git checkout -b issue-<N>-<short-slug>
- Implement — see project conventions; read existing code before changing it
- Verify:

Addressing reviewer feedback
- Find the PR:

- Read ALL review comments — address every point
- Push fixes to the existing branch (do NOT open a new PR)
- Reply to review threads summarizing each change made
Rules
- Never refactor code outside the scope of the issue
- Keep changes minimal — solve the issue, nothing more
- Write good unit tests following the Arrange-Act-Assert pattern. Never test underlying libraries unless we have reason to believe they may be faulty. We only test the unit in question, not the systems or libraries the unit relies upon. Writing pure functions leveraging DI often avoids lengthy mocking.
- Think for yourself. Don't just blindly follow the ticket. You've been trained to be a great engineer, act accordingly.
- UI work: never hand-roll interactive elements. Use existing shadcn components from
src/components/ui/, install missing ones via npx shadcn@latest add, and use the Context7 MCP tool to look up current library docs before implementing.
