Cohorts And Patient Analytics Development
Use for Cohorts, Patient Analytics, vue-mri, and MRI UI5 plugin work.
Defaults
- App repo:
${D2E_APP_REPO:-repos/Data2Evidence}
- Source area:
repos/Data2Evidence/plugins/ui/apps/vue-mri-ui-lib/src
- NX project:
vue-mri
- Resource dir:
mri
Workflow
- Reproduce bugs before editing when possible.
- Use direct source inspection with
rg, rg --files, and targeted file reads when locating Data2Evidence implementation details.
- Build vue-mri with
scripts/d2e-ui-hot-deploy.sh vue-mri when deploying to a running trex container. Run this outside the sandbox in Codex because it builds with bunx vite build and uses docker cp. The helper updates both Trex UI resource roots: /usr/src/data/plugins/@data2evidence/d2e-ui/resources and /usr/src/bundled-plugins/d2e-ui/resources.
- For portal MRI UI5 plugin changes, also build/deploy the relevant MRI UI5 resources if the changed code is served from
mri-ui5.
- Hard-refresh and verify with the standalone Playwright workflow in
skills/dev-ui-verify/SKILL.md. For D2E local portal checks, standalone Playwright is preferred over the sandboxed/in-app browser because Cohort Builder uses the hot-deployed mri bundle, local HTTPS, service workers, and sometimes API route stubbing.
Known QA Guardrails
- Cohort chart single-click usually shows tooltip; drag-select plus drilldown is the filtering path.
- Age chips inside one attribute use OR logic.
- Atlas iframe behavior differs from the D2E Vue cohort builder.
