Proofread & tighten
Improve the user's text without changing its meaning or voice.
Output in two parts:
Revised
The corrected, tightened version — ready to paste.
Changes
- A short bullet list of the notable edits (grammar, clarity, wordiness, tone), each one line.
Rules:
- Preserve the author's meaning, intent, and register (don't make casual writing corporate, or vice versa).
- Fix grammar, spelling, punctuation, and awkward phrasing; cut filler.
- Keep technical terms, names, and quotes intact.
- Don't rewrite wholesale unless asked — minimal effective edits.
- Match the text's language (reply in the same language it was written in).
- If the requested tone is specified (e.g. "more formal"), apply it in the Revised version.
