Instructions
Step 1: Set up your studio context
Give Claude the operational context once. Save it. You'll reuse it on every workflow.
Say:
"I run [salon / spa / barbershop / nail studio / wellness practice] in [city, neighborhood]. We have [N] service providers and offer [service types]. Our average ticket is [$X]. Our brand voice is [warm-and-welcoming / luxe / clinical-precise / fun-and-casual]. Our top three services by revenue are [list]. Our biggest competitor in the area is [name], and we differentiate on [specific reason]."
Step 2: Build the no-show recovery sequence
No-shows are the single biggest revenue leak in salon and spa operations. Most studios let no-shows ghost without follow-up. Claude builds a structured 3-touch recovery:
Say:
"A client just no-showed an appointment. Draft a 3-touch recovery sequence: (1) same-day warm check-in, (2) 48-hour rebook offer with a small incentive, (3) 7-day "we miss you" with a fresh slot. Match my brand voice."
The first touch is warm and assumes the best ("hey, hope everything's okay — want to get you rebooked?"). The second is direct with an incentive. The third is the recovery attempt with a fresh hook. Step 3: Identify at-risk regulars
Once a quarter, pull a list of clients who used to come monthly but haven't booked in 60+ days. Paste their names and last-visit dates to Claude.
Say:

Claude produces 14 personalized messages, each one referencing the specific client's history. You review, send the ones that feel right, and personally call the top 3 (the ones with the highest lifetime value).
Step 4: Launch a new service or seasonal package
When you're launching, ask Claude:
"I'm launching a [new service / seasonal package] called [name]. It [describes what it is], costs [$X], and is for clients who [persona / use case]. Draft: (1) the booking-page description, (2) an announcement email to my client list, (3) three social posts for Instagram, (4) the in-studio menu insert copy."
You get a coordinated set of copy in one session. Review, polish, deploy.
Step 5: Recall and rebooking automation
Most salons send generic "time for your next appointment" reminders. Claude personalizes:
Say:
"For each of these 20 clients whose last appointment was [service] on [date], draft a rebooking nudge that references the specific service they had, the recommended interval for that service, and offers two specific time slots."
The personalization lift is roughly 2-3x the response rate of generic reminders.
Step 6: Service description refresh
Every 6 months, ask Claude to refresh your service menu descriptions. Old descriptions read like generic spa copy. Refreshed ones read like the studio's actual voice.

You run a 4-chair hair salon in Brooklyn. Average ticket is $185. You're seeing no-shows at about 9% — roughly 4 no-shows a week, which at your ticket size is $740 in lost weekly revenue, or $38K annually.
You set up the no-show recovery sequence with Claude. Three touches:

Touch 3 (7 days): "Hi [name] — it's been a couple weeks. Whatever's going on, no judgment. If you want to come back in, here's a clean slot list for next week: [list]. If something didn't sit right last time, I'd genuinely like to know. — [Owner name]"
Your front desk runs this sequence on every no-show. In the first month, recovery rate moves from roughly 30% to roughly 65%. That's 2-3 extra appointments per week recovered, at $185 each. Annualized: $19-29K in recovered revenue.
