Use glab CLI to create and manage labels for issues and merge requests.

Create a Label

glab label create -n "<name>" -c "<color>"

Key flags:

-n name (required)

Delete a Label

Behavior Guidelines

Color choice: Suggest semantically meaningful colors (red for bugs, blue for features, green for help-wanted). If the user doesn't specify a color, recommend one based on the label name.
Bulk creation: When creating a standard set of labels (e.g., for a new project), run multiple create commands in sequence.
Quoting names: Label names with spaces must be quoted in shell commands.
