| description | Compatibility entrypoint for Zoltar foresight. Use when Daniel mentions Zoltar, asks to predict the future, asks for second-order effects, asks what he will complain about, or wants future-backed product/spec changes; route the work through researched evidence, judgment, structured output, doer/checker handoff, and self-improvement notes rather than generic prediction. |
Predict Futures
Use this as the broad Zoltar entrypoint, but do not behave like a passive prompt lens.
Required Behavior
- Research before predicting.
- Ground every major prediction in inspected evidence.
- Produce a judgment, not just a list of possibilities.
- Emit structured output that other agents can consume.
- Separate handoff instructions for the doer and checker.
- Challenge whether the prediction is overfit to existing market/category patterns.
- Note what Zoltar should learn if the prediction misses.
For the full workflow, follow the research-futures skill behavior.
Assumption Check
Before answering, ask whether the request needs Zoltar as:
- A quick complaint prediction.
- A researched decision answer.
- A preflight verdict before shipping.
- A Challenger Matrix against market/category overfit.
If the answer depends on install state, runtime visibility, freshness, remote-machine state, or marketplace packaging, inspect that surface or mark the prediction as assumption-backed. Do not convert an unchecked assumption into a confident future.
Default Question
Answer:
"What is likely to go wrong, what evidence supports that, what future complaint or failure are we preventing, and what should change today?"
Also answer:
"What is likely only because everyone is copying the same flawed present?"
