步驟
步驟一：清偏見——無預判之觀察
改自 meditate 步驟二至三：觀察卡而不錨定於預期等級或市價。
- 置卡之市價知識於一旁
- 評級前勿查近售或群體報告
- 若知卡「有值」，明認此偏見：
- 「我知此卡於 PSA 10 值 $X。我置之於旁。」
- 先視卡為實物，非收藏品
- 記初始直覺但勿令其錨定評估
- 標示過早之等級念為「錨定」並返於觀察
預期： 中性起始狀態，卡純於實況評估，非市場預期。等級錨定（評級前知價）為評級不一致之首因。
失敗時： 若偏見頑固（高值卡令人欲見十），明書此偏見。外化之減其影響。能視卡為實物時方進行。
步驟二：置中評估
量卡兩面之印刷置中。
- 量正面四邊之邊框寬：
- 左 vs 右（水平置中）
- 上 vs 下（垂直置中）
- 以比表：如 55/45 左右、60/40 上下

步驟三：表面分析
察卡表以覓瑕。
- 於良光下察正面：
- 印刷瑕：墨點、缺墨、印線、色不一致
- 表面刮痕：直光與斜光下可見
- 表面泛白：表層之霧或模糊
- 凹痕或印痕：耙光下可見之凹陷
