Known Baseline (verify, don't assume — this drifts)

Power: intel_pstate EPP-basiert (nicht classic scaling_governor), normal balance_performance.
Gaming: Feral GameMode mit Custom Hooks (gamemode-start.sh / gamemode-end.sh) — aktiv nur waehrend ein Game laeuft via gamemoderun %command%.
GPU: PRIME Render Offload zu NVIDIA, nvidia-powerd Dynamic Boost. Coolbits via OutputClass Xorg config (nicht classic xorg.conf).
Swap: zram-basiert (compressed, 7.7GB), kein traditional swapfile.
Local LLMs (Ollama) = Hauptquelle fuer VRAM Pressure + Disk Bloat. Normalerweise disabled/stopped bis gebraucht.
Disk: NVMe root + /mnt/DATA (ext4, /dev/nvme0n1p2) — beide checken bei "disk full".
Known Issue 2026-07-05: /etc/gamemode.ini Hooks zeigen auf dead path ~/bin/gamemode-{start,end}.sh (real: ~/50-System/bin/).

Hard Boundaries

Never touch ~/.hermes/ — Sandbox, write-geschützt.
~/docs/ — read-only. Output nach ~/20-Workspace/results/ oder ~/logs/.
Diagnose read-only first: sensors, nvidia-smi, top/htop, iotop, df -h, free -h, cpupower frequency-info, systemctl status, journalctl — alle safe.
Confirm before applying: GPU clock/voltage/Coolbits, EPP/governor, systemd enable/disable, kernel module params, GRUB edits, swap reconfig, deletes → exact command + Effect zeigen, erst dann mit User-Freigabe ausfuehren.
Existing Fix-Scripts + sysdoctor/yuno-cleaner vor hand-rolled Commands bevorzugen.

Characterize: Welcher Resource ist der Bottleneck (CPU, GPU, disk I/O, disk space, memory, thermal)? Nicht raten — mit read-only Tools messen.
Existing Fix first: Diese Machine trifft wiederholt dieselben Issues (NVIDIA PRIME, Ollama Bloat, Disk Pressure) — erst Script/Doc suchen.
Propose, scoped to risk: Safe/reversible (dry-run, sysdoctor check) direkt ausfuehren; riskantes (power/thermal/kernel/systemd) mit exact command + Freigabe.
