Source Code Reading Patterns
When analyzing ruv's crates, look for these patterns:
Rust Crates
- Read
src/lib.rs first -- it re-exports and documents the public API
- Check
Cargo.toml for feature flags and dependencies
- Look for
pub struct, pub trait, pub enum for key types
- Check
examples/ and tests/ for usage patterns
- Look for
#[cfg(feature = "...")] for optional capabilities
- Read doc comments (
///) for design intent
TypeScript Packages
- Read
src/index.ts or src/lib.ts for exports
- Check
package.json for dependencies and scripts
- Look for
export class, export interface, export type for key types

Hidden Features / Easter Eggs
ruv embeds experimental features throughout the codebase. Look for:
- Crates with unusual names (e.g.,
cognitum-gate-tilezero, sona)
examples/ directory -- often contains full applications not mentioned in README
- Feature flags that unlock experimental capabilities
- Crates with low-level names (e.g.,
rvf = binary container format)
- The
crates/ directory may have 100+ crates; many are not documented
WeftOS Phase Mapping
When updating research, always note which WeftOS phase each finding is relevant
to. Use this mapping as a guide:

- Sanitize any paths or URLs that contain auth tokens
