Workflow
- Inspect existing examples in
recipes/*.md before writing so the new recipe matches the repo's current style.
- If the user provides a URL, browse or fetch it only when explicitly allowed or when the URL content is required. Summarize and simplify; do not copy long source text.
- Convert the recipe into a standalone markdown file under
recipes/.
- Use a short kebab-case filename, such as
turkey-chili.md or greek-bowl.md.
- Make the recipe self-contained. Do not reference weekly plans or other recipes from inside a recipe file.
- Prefer simple grocery-store ingredients, packaged shortcuts, and practical quantities over restaurant-style prep.
- Keep instructions short and executable for a home weeknight meal.
Recipe Format
Use this structure unless the existing repo style clearly changes:

## Simple instructions

Adjust section names to fit the meal. Common sections include Main, Sandwich toppings, Side, Toppings, Chips + salsa, and Veg + toppings.
Simplification Rules
- Target the simplicity of the current repo recipes: few sections, bold ingredient names, short numbered steps.
- Preserve important doneness and safety details, such as cooking chicken to
165°F.
- Replace complex homemade subcomponents with practical store-bought options when that matches the repo style, such as bottled marinade, prepared salad kits, premade salsa, or packaged seasoning.
- Keep useful brand/store notes if supplied by the user.
- Default to 3 people when the user gives no serving count.
- If the source recipe has many optional garnishes, keep only the ones that materially affect the meal or mark them optional.
- If source quantities are unclear, make reasonable grocery-practical assumptions and state them briefly in the final response.
