/start-cerebras-brain

Bring the brain's runtime up (idempotent) and report health. This is the daily verb; heavy install/repair is /install-cerebras-brain.

Do this

1. Run the launcher in check-only mode (it starts Docker Desktop, kb-postgres, and Ollama as needed, then prints the health report — it does NOT open a new Claude session):

   cd <repo>
   .\brain.ps1 -NoLaunch
   

2. Report in plain language: what was already up vs. started, and the health summary (rows, embedded coverage, per-source freshness, warnings). warnings: none = ready.

3. The kb MCP server process tolerates the DB being down at session start — tool calls simply fail until Postgres is up. So after this skill succeeds, mcp__kb__search etc. work immediately in THIS session; no restart needed.

If it fails

• Docker won't start within its 120s window → the machine may need Docker Desktop opened manually once (or a reboot). Report the warning verbatim.
• Repeated failures or anything beyond "not running" (schema errors, missing venv, unregistered MCP) → escalate to /install-cerebras-brain, which verifies the full stack.
• Ollama down but Postgres up → say clearly: full-text search works, semantic search is off.
