The work product is documentation. Period.

• Decompile function -> Document findings in NOTES.md -> Then next function
• Never batch discoveries
• Never mark phase complete without reviewing NOTES.md against phase requirements
• If NOTES.md doesn't contain the answer to each phase task, phase isn't done

Before marking any RE phase complete:

1. List each task from plan
2. Quote the NOTES.md section that answers it
3. If you can't quote it, it doesn't exist
4. If it doesn't exist, you didn't do it
