Reddit Research
Use this skill when the user wants Reddit-native discussion context that does
not show up well in public APIs or generic news search.
Workflow
- Use
browser_site with Reddit adapters that exist in the runtime catalog. Prefer exact adapters such as:
reddit/search
reddit/hot
reddit/thread
- Read references/adapter-examples.md when you need concrete adapter call patterns or fallback behavior.
- Extract:
- recurring narratives
- crowd positioning or meme intensity
- whether discussion is broad, ironic, bullish, or fearful
- Pair with
sentiment-analysis if a weighted conclusion is needed.
Rules
- Do not guess undocumented
reddit/* adapters. If the runtime catalog does not expose the adapter you want, say so and use the closest listed adapter instead.
- Treat Reddit as fast retail signal, not as a verified primary source.
- Separate memes, jokes, and sarcasm from actual thesis statements.
