PR Description Generator Skill
Generate polished, copy-paste ready PR descriptions.
Purpose
Creates well-structured PR descriptions that are ready to paste into GitHub/Azure DevOps. Can be used:
- As part of the pipeline (called by Verification Agent)
- Standalone (user just wants a PR description for their current changes)
Workflow
Step 1: Gather Context
From available sources (in priority order):
- Verification Report (if available) — most complete
- Implementation Report (if available) — changes details
- Git diff (always available) — raw changes
- Commit messages — developer intent
Step 2: Analyze the Diff
Categorize changes:
- Feature code — new functionality
- Bug fix — corrective changes
- Tests — test additions/modifications
- Configuration — properties, configs
- Documentation — comments, docs
Step 3: Generate PR Description

- Always include risks section (even if "None identified")
- If generated from a diff alone (no reports), note lower confidence
