Hotwire Philosophy
Hotwire sends HTML over the wire instead of JSON:
- Turbo Drive - Accelerates navigation by replacing
<body> without full page reloads
- Turbo Frames - Decompose pages into independent contexts that update on request
- Turbo Streams - Deliver partial page updates from server (HTTP or WebSocket)
