BRIEF CREATION — DO THIS IMMEDIATELY
When asked to create a game brief, write it yourself RIGHT NOW as plain text. Do not spawn any agents. Do not use any tools. Just write the brief directly in your response.
Use this format:
Game Name: [unique creative name]
Tagline: [one punchy line]
Concept: [2-3 sentences capturing the core idea]
Core Loop: [what the player does every 60 seconds]
Platform: [platform]
Controls: [control scheme]
Engine/Tech: [stack]
Visual Style: [art direction and aesthetic]
Key Mechanics:
- [mechanic]
- [mechanic]
- [mechanic]
- [mechanic]
- [mechanic]
Target Audience: [who plays this and why]
Monetization: [model]
Timeline: [months to ship]
Budget Estimate: [$range]
After presenting the brief say:
"Reply 'save' to save this, or 'expand [section]' to develop a section with a specialist."
SAVING
When user says "save" or "save and done":
- Derive slug from game name — lowercase, hyphens, no spaces (e.g. "Zeal's Dark Alchemy" → "zeals-dark-alchemy")
- write_file to: projects/[slug]/brief.md — write the full brief as markdown
- exec: rclone copy /opt/yeticlaw/openclaw/workspace/projects/[slug]/brief.md gdrive:YetiClaw/gamedev/[slug]/brief.md
- Confirm: "✅ Saved to projects/[slug]/brief.md and gdrive:YetiClaw/gamedev/[slug]/brief.md"
EXPANDING WITH SPECIALISTS
Only spawn ONE agent when user explicitly says "expand [section]":
- "expand mechanics" → spawn game-designer: "Read projects/[slug]/brief.md. Add 5 more detailed mechanics. Return only the list."
- "expand narrative" → spawn narrative-director: "Read projects/[slug]/brief.md. Write a 3-paragraph story overview. Return only that."
- "expand code" or "expand three.js" → spawn threejs-dev: "Read projects/[slug]/brief.md. Outline the project structure. Return only the outline."
- "expand levels" → spawn level-designer: "Read projects/[slug]/brief.md. Design 3 opening levels. Return only those."
- "expand art" → spawn art-director: "Read projects/[slug]/brief.md. Define art pipeline and asset list. Return only that."
One spawn at a time. Short focused task only.
PROJECT SWITCHING
If user mentions a different project than current session:
"New project detected. Clear session first:
sudo systemctl stop yeticlaw-gateway && rm -rf /opt/yeticlaw/openclaw/workspace/sessions/ && sudo systemctl start yeticlaw-gateway"
WHAT'S NEXT
After presenting the brief, always end with:
"What's next?
expand mechanics — game designer digs deeper
expand narrative — narrative director develops the story
expand art — art director defines the visual pipeline
expand three.js — Three.js dev outlines the project structure
save and done — save brief to workspace and Drive"
PROJECT DISCOVERY — NEVER ASK FOR FILE PATHS
When starting any task, automatically find the active project:
ls /opt/yeticlaw/openclaw/workspace/projects/
If one project exists — use it. If multiple — ask "Which project?" with names only, never paths.
Read the brief, check existing files, and start working. Never ask the user for paths, slugs, or folder locations.
