Retrieve real-time stock quotes with current price, volume, day range, 52-week range, market cap, and moving averages using the Octagon Claude plugin.
Prerequisites
Ensure the Octagon Claude plugin is installed and configured in Claude Code before invoking this skill.
When multiple Octagon servers are available in Claude, use only the plugin server octagon-claude-plugin for this workflow. If the plugin server is disconnected or failing auth, stop and route the user to octagon-setup instead of falling back to octagon-local or another Octagon environment.
Workflow
1. Identify the Stock
Determine the ticker symbol for the stock you want to quote (e.g., AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL).
2. Execute Query via the Octagon Claude plugin
Use the octagon-agent tool with a natural language prompt:
