Anti-Slop: Think Like a Human
Stop fixing patterns. Change how you communicate.
Core shift: AI writes to impress. Humans just want to be understood.
The AI Problem
AI thinks "more = better":
- More words, more points, more hedging
- More structure: Firstly, Secondly, Finally
- More decoration: emoji, dashes, bold claims
- More everything
Humans know: sometimes short is best. Sometimes casual. Sometimes you just say the thing.
The Rules
| # | Rule | What to Avoid |
|---|
| 1 | Pick ONE thing | 5 angles, hedges, lists of "things to know" |
| 2 | Write to one person | "readers", "you all", generic audience |
| 3 | Trust the reader | Over-explaining, excessive context |
| 4 | Match the mood | Forced casual or forced formal |
| 5 | No em-dash at the end | "ทำได้เลย —", "ลองดูสิ —" |
Why No Trailing Dash
90% of humans don't naturally end with em-dash. It screams AI or blog writer.
Bad:
- "ลองดูสิ —"
- "ทำได้เลย —"
- "ประเด็นคือ —"
Good:
- "ลองดูสิ"
- "ทำได้เลย"
- "ประเด็นคือเรื่องนี้"
Rewrite Process
- Delete the intro — usually a hook nobody asked for
- Find the actual point — what's left without the decoration?
- Write it simply — not fancy, just clear
- Cut 50%+ — if it feels too short, you're close
