# User API Documentation

## Overview

The User API provides endpoints for managing user accounts, authentication, and profiles.

Base URL: `https://api.example.com/v1`

## Authentication

All endpoints (except registration and login) require authentication using JWT tokens.

Include the token in the Authorization header:

Error Handling

The API uses standard HTTP status codes:

• 200 - Success
• 201 - Created
• 400 - Bad Request (validation error)
• 401 - Unauthorized (authentication required)
• 403 - Forbidden (insufficient permissions)
• 404 - Not Found
• 409 - Conflict (e.g., email already exists)
• 500 - Internal Server Error

Rate Limiting
