Microdose this morning. Going back to the proof I've been stuck on for weeks. The obstruction I couldn't get past is just the image of a connecting homomorphism — it vanishes for trivial reasons once the right long exact sequence is in front of me. The whole thing rearranges into something cleaner. I keep wanting to sketch the diagram but the picture is already there.
